Hi all,

I have assembled a collection of information about twin tension rope rescue systems. In recent years this method of rope rescue has surfaced with many advantages over our current single tension system with a back up untensioned tandem prussik belay.

At this time these techniques aren't approved for rescue in BC but they will be in the future. It stands to benefit the team for everyone to be aware of this system so that when we are allowed to use it we can easily transition. Being aware of this technique will also help the team better understand the limitations of our current system and potentially become better team members and system operators.

At this time new members should not confuse this technique with the current technique as it is not on your evaluation.
