Two members flown to Courtney by CASARA and assisted with search for three days.

Subject was not found.

Assist with possible heart attach on island in Hotel Lake.

Stood down by BCAS before on route as no longer needed.

Paged by RCMP to assist with transport of deceased from steep hillside, rope systems probably required. Subject located in remote location (boat access only) and steep terrain.

Female subject struck by tree during tree falling; died shortly thereafter. RCMP attended with 2 Conservation Officers then asked for SAR assistance because of steep terrain. RCMP and CO then decided they could handle it with assistance from a few others on site.

SAR informed that all were out to the boat at 13:55. SAR team stood down at 14:00

Rescue injured Mountain Bikers on Trail Hwy 102.

Two subjects, one minor injuries. Other transferred to BCAS and taken to Children's Hospital for observation for concussion and other injuries.

paged by RCMP to rescue unconscious subject at top of cliff on Soames Hill.

Hasty team did initial assessment and moved subject away from cliff edge. Subject was put into dry clothing and protected from elements.
Determined by first aid attendant and RRTL that it was safer for all to let subject sleep until conscious and ambulatory;

Subject was transferred to hospital by BCAS when brought out.

11:29 paged by RCMP to assist with search of steep bush W of Hall Road (just off Field Rd) where cries for help were heard by reliable witness.

15:54 paged by RCMP. Report of male falling from cabin somewhere in Halfmoon Bay.

Unable to find anyone. Turned out to be a crank call.

08:00 paged by RCMP to search for missing 15 yr old.

Subject found following day by RCMP off coast.

Requested by RCMP to find 3 male teens snowshoeing in Tet Park who had missed their check-in.

Weather was significant snowstorm (3 ft new snow). Subjects known to be unfamiliar with trails. Planned route not known for sure. Also they had no comms and no transport from parking lot out to main road (about 10km)

Teams dispatched to access cabins in Tet Park. Tracked UTV required to get teams to trailhead parking lot, snow too deep for vehicles. Found subjects coming out on a trail. All OK. Transported subjects and teams down with UTV.

subjects called 911, lost on trails off of Day Road in Roberts Creek.

RCMP found subjects and brought them out just as SAR started to deploy at LKP.
