00:36 paged by RCMP to search for driver possibly thrown from vehicle in MVI. Vehicle totally destroyed.
Others from vehicle had said driver was missing. The 4 of them were ambulatory and had been taken to
hospital. Fire had used FLIR along highway with no results but difficult to check well due to terrain and bush.
RCMP suspected driver was really one of the 4 taken to hospital but could not rule out driver being thrown
due to damage to vehicle (e.g. engine thrown from vehicle).
Team deployed on initial search of hillside while Command Vehicle with FLIR units enroute.
01:40 RCMP confirms one of the 4 at hospital was the driver. Search stood down.

Mutual Aid to Lions Bay SAR for evidence search of north slope of Mt Harvey on 2017-06-24.
Original task was recovery of deceased snowshoers killed in cornice collaps on Mt Harvey 2017-04-08

Gear prep on 2017-06-23 to ensure Martin's technical requirements covered and safety gear all good.

Two members attended on 2017-06-24, flown in to Mt Harvey by helicopter from Lions Bay, one member
monitoring radio and InReach units from Sunshine Coast during the day.

Effective search, much "stuff" found from subjects including cell phones.
Two members back home and stood down at 20:45.

18:06 paged by RCMP to assist in search for missing schizophrenic person missing from care unit.
Subject located. RCMP returned to facility
20:30 members all stood down and gear stowed.

Search for missing person. Unfortunately our team found the person deceased. 

Nov 25 13:03 contacted by SCRD Emergency Coordinator to deliver notices to houses re road washouts

due to beaver dam which let go. It was determined one of the roads could be repaired still leaving one lane

access. The other was already washed away. Required prescription medications delivered via trails to

elderly couple behind fully washed out road. End of day 18:30

Nov 26 12:03 contacted by MOTI and SCRD, MOTI determined the other road would have to be fully cut to

complete repairs and residents needed notice delivery ASAP. Request for UTV on site for emergency

transport for any medical evac (many seniors in the affected area, some with mobility issues.) UTV used to

shuttle some residents to their homes.

Called by RCMP to assist them in searching for  missing person in Gibsons. The RCMP found the person as we were responding.

Tasked by RCMP to assist in search for 4 lost teens who had called for help. The team located them in good health and escorted them out of the bush.

Team was tasked to find a person who had run away from the Sechelt Hospital.

After searching all night and an extensive social media campaign, the missing person was spotted at a local restaurant by a member of the public who notified the RCMP.

Tasked by RCMP to look for overdue hikers on Gambier Island. It turns out it was a communication error and when the supposed missing people found cell reception they called to say they were ok. Team was stood down.
